The network is being built
We are not listing any attorney profiles yet, because there are not yet attorneys to list.
We could fill this page with stock photographs and plausible biographies. Plenty of sites in this field do. We are not going to, because an invented attorney profile is a lie told to someone who has just been hurt, and because the entire value of a service like this rests on whether what it publishes is true.
When there are participating attorneys, they will appear here, and everything on their profile will be verifiable.
What a profile will show
- Name, firm and office location
- Illinois admission year and ARDC registration number
- Practice areas and the counties they serve
- Education, professional memberships and languages
- Professional background, in the attorney's own approved words
- Publications and speaking engagements, where they exist
What a profile will never show
- A ranking, a score, a star rating, or a 'top rated' badge. We do not rank attorneys, and there is no field in our system to do it with.
- Claims that an attorney is the best, the leading, the most successful or the most aggressive.
- Case results or settlement figures.
- Client testimonials or reviews.
Where more than one attorney is listed, the order is randomised on each page load. Position on this page cannot be bought, and it should not be read as a ranking — because it is not one.
Verify any attorney yourself
Licence status, admission date and public disciplinary history for every attorney licensed in Illinois can be confirmed directly with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. Every profile we publish will link to it. We would encourage you to check — about anyone, not only an attorney you found here.
How attorneys are paid, and how we are
Participating attorneys pay a fixed participation fee. It does not change depending on whether a matter is accepted, how it resolves, or what it is worth, and we receive no share of any legal fee.
This matters to you, not just to them. It means nobody here has a financial reason to push your matter toward one attorney rather than another, or to encourage you to pursue something you should not.
Chicago Legal Connections is not a law firm. Attorneys who participate are independently licensed and solely responsible for their own professional judgment, advice, fees and client relationships. Participation is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a certification of expertise, and it does not mean an attorney has agreed to take your matter.
